Report from Coronation Mark 563
   
Many changes took place For Coronation Mark Lodge (563) on the 5th February 2015.
W Bro, Derek Horrocks, was installed into the Chair by W Bro Stephen Lyons.
During the investiture of his Officers W Bro Derek invested W Bro Sydney Blake as Secretary, who for many years acted as Director of Ceremonies, (frying pan to fire springs to mind). At this point of the meeting W Bro Derek thanked VW Bro Bill Merry for all his hard work and dedication as the Lodge Secretary for many years, which was met with applause from the brethren.
The Worshipful Master appointed Bro Bill Wenton as Senior Warden, Bro Doug Holgate as Junior Warden and W Bro Stephen Lyons as Director of Ceremonies. A comment at the festive Board by the Provincial Grand Senior Warden Arthur Robinson “I have never known such a big cabinet reshuffle even from a Prime Minister” was very apt.
V.W. Bro Eric Drinkwater represented the Provincial Grand Master for the evening, and congratulated the Installing Master and the brethren who assisted in the ceremony.
The evening was especially enjoyable for W Bro Derek as he was able to assist the more junior brethren of the lodge to continue to the Wardens chairs, he was also in the company of close Masonic friends such as V W Bro Eric Drinkwater and V W Bro Eric Hughes.
 

An enjoyable evening for all concerned, the late-night refreshment at the bar was good fun as well.
